Canadian moose walking around in high-vis vest

Residents of McBride, Canada, are baffled as to why a deer has been walking around their town wearing a high-vis vest. Rocky Mountain Goat newspaper reporter Andrea Arnold took photos of the deer while local Joe Rich, who has also seen it, said it wouldn’t have been able to don the vest itself. “It’s zipped right up,” he told CBC News. Conservation officer Eamonn McArthur, who is investigating the mystery, urged caution. “They’re not predisposed to wearing clothes,” he said. “Even if you can get close enough to the wildlife to put it in a sweater, we recommend highly against that.”
