1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played Solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12 You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't #9 on this list

This is really funny and has a lot of truth in it - I DO go online first thing in the morning and I DID think about to whom I would forward it and no, I DIDN'T notice there was no number 9... Scary times...

Isn't it the truth? The other day I left without my cell phone, as I had been charging it, and I panicked. But, then thought, I USED to ENJOY being away from phones for awhile. Sometimes it's the only peace and quiet that you get.

Our daughter and son-in-law email each other in the same house, as his office is way upstairs and hers in the bedroom downstairs.

Claudia, you're right, it's SCARY

I got a big laugh out of that one, especially since I am guilty myself of #10,#12,#14 & #15. I also think that I may also be guilty of #1 as well.

#2 is worse than anything. I've never played Solitaire with real cards.

Okay, I admit to calling my daughter upstairs from the kitchen - only because I don't want to yell up the stairwell (she won't hear me anyway with her music on but she will feel the phone vibrate) and because it's easier than trotting up and down stairs, lol.

I must still be pretty much a 20th Century "B" only 7 & 12 are true for me. I did notice there was no #9 ha-ha! :D

Even if i got a cell phone I wouldn't panic if I forgot it at home, knowing me I'd just say "Oh well". I like the net but I use it to post my thoughts mostly,I do E-Mail but I don't check it every single day like most folks. As for other modern inventions and entetainment innovations,if i never do get to own them..I wont lose any sleep over it.

Here's another:
You log on everyday to read long winded messages by some dude who calls himself Borderstone! LOL!! Later!

Most of these are true for me. Luckily I don't tilt my head sideways to smile...yet. And I thought that I was ever so old fashioned!

Good point. I have friends that I consider fairly intelligent who have lost a lot of sleep trying to figure out how to use the dang remote for those gizmos.

I've been enjoying the British tv series Life On Mars. For those who are unfamiliar, it is about a policeman from 2006 who has an accident, lies in a coma, and is transported back to 1973. But is it real or a dream?

I was only 10 years old in 1973, but I remember a lot of the culture. My my, how far we have come! Mind you, some for better and some for the worse, perhaps?

Dj,I was 5 in 1973 and I still recall a lot about how things were then too. Music, clothes,TV, (I hadn't been to a movie yet, unless that's when I saw "Peter Pan".)

Another:You mistakenly try to find the "flipside" of a song on your I-Pod!! LOL!

Jeez, in '73 I was 12 & going through the typical rebellious phase. According to my mum, I once wanted to paint my room orange & black. YUCK!!! Makes me glad that I grew up & got better sense & taste.

Unfortunately, my mom did not stop me from painting my room flat black with red trim when I was a teenager! She did make me paint the room after the novelty wore off. It took so many coats to cover the black walls I wound up paneling one wall because it was easier. I certainly learned a valuable and expensive lesson!

I've never really understood the rebellious phase,I didn't have one.

No joke there I really didn't at 12 (1980-81) I was simply going through the usual "changes" guys go through but,no,didn't feel rebellious.
Guess I loved & respected my Mom & Grandmother too much for that. Just never occoured to me.

I know! I'll rebel now! Someone get me a motorcycle, find me a tattoo artist,I'll start drinkin' beer, smokin',and yelling at people for no reason. Grrrrrrrr!

Yeah right LOL! :D

TOO FUNNY, but SOOO true!!

Another one is: If you misplace your remote, you'll watch the same channel for hours rather than actually walking all the way accross the room to change it.

What's really scary, is imagining what types of things will be on a list like this 20 years from now!!!

You don't have photo albums anymore, you store and show all your family pictures on your laptop or website. Instead of carrying your kids' pictures in your wallet, you carry your flash drive.
