I wouldn't blame Gord if he retires after all this, but if (when!) he tours again I think they ought to dust off "Salute (A Lot More Livin' to do)".

I think everyone who's a regular here knows what I think of Salute!!!

My first Gordon concert was the Salute tour 1983 and man was it great! he plugged in then he unplugged, he plugged in then he unplugged and I swear he did just about every tune from Salute! and all the goodies also, Man I was in heaven!!!

Pleeze Gordon PLEEZZEEEEE plug in just one mo time PLEEEZZZEEE!!!!!

And get well soon!!!!! see ya in Sandusky 2003...

If Gord returns it will be great. Chuck Darling please stop talking about that concert, if you won't let me know how to get tickets!!!! But retirement is something each of us thinks about...but, Gordon does not think about music in a normal frame of reference. That is, he is the music as the music is him. Just like I tell people who want to know how I can paint and do other art, you are either art or the artist. Gord is the painter. I understand what he can not live without.

Yes Chuck, I too attended a Salute Concert in 1983. We don't see him around here in Okla. often, and was so dissapointed to see our Front row tickets to the St. Louis Concert cancelled. But obviously that pales in comparion to Gordon getting well. I am enjoying my new Salute and Shadows CDs as I await for his return. He ranks up there with any of the great 20th Century songwriters.
