Hi you all,

Did some of you ever noticed, that in the, 'Songs The Minstrel Sang,' on Endless Wire, when Gord sings; "When the sheriff was [there] they were over [here]. Like, {there} is on the left speaker, and {here} is heard on the right.

I think it's very cool. You'll notice this best, listening to it with headphones.

A lot of The Beatles earlier recordings were done like that.

This of course is called ,full stereo sound. If you never noticed that, on that beautiful Lightfoot song, you should give it a try. It shows once again the perfectionist that he is.

Of course it may have been suggested by someone other than himself also. But until I hear differently he's the man...Jesse.

That's my favorite way to listen, sitting on my front porch with the headphones. You can hear it better that way, but I haven't noticed one part coming out of one side, and another part coming out of the other.

Listen to it carefully, with most stereo today, it does it that way. It's very cool...Jesse.

I think he did that on-purpose. It's a neat effect for a 70s record.

Exactly, it was meant to be recorded like that. I just wanted to know if someone else had noticed it. I see you did Borderstone, but we may be a few, as it didn't get much response. Maybe Corfidians who read this thought, what are they talking about, they must be crazyzzzzzz. :D :D

This channel separation has been done by many artists. Have you ever listened to CSN's song "Helplessly Hoping" using headphones? If not, give it a listen - the harmony vocals entering from opposite ears is really effective!
