Not at all Jess Joe! I actually kind of prefer it when you do it. It seems to be kind of a tradition. The only reason I posted this time was because jj had requested it and I wanted to be sure he knew it was finally up. By all means please keep up the tradition if you like to. And again, thanks for noticing so quickly that it was up.
Maybe if I don't let myself go so long without putting something up the thread won't be so hard to find!
Best wishes, Tim

Re: Singing "Gordon Lightfoot" songs !
hi Tim
thanks SO much...i'm excited that I'll be listening to this tonight (when I get to my other computer that has 'full' speakers)
in the meantime, visually, that's a very natural looking guitar, nice (or it it just different lighting perhaps)....also, i want your barber and personal trainer's number...you're looking even better than usual, man
jj (note: straight male, lol)

Re: Singing "Gordon Lightfoot" songs !
lol.. thanks jj. About the guitar, it's a martin DCX-1E. It's actually a budget guitar. I wanted a cutaway/acousto-electric and didn't have a lot of money to spend. This is a "Martin product" in that it carries the martin name but is mass-produced and made mostly out of formica believe it or not. It sounds and looks surprisingly good considering all this, but of course it's not as nice as the D-35. The reason I'm using it is because the D-35 has problems that I can't afford to fix right now and that make recording with it really difficult. I was putting up with it there for a while but just got tired of it.
As for my personal trainer: I don't have one. But I've been on a low-carb diet lately that has done wonders and I'm running 3 or so miles a day several days a week. My barber is a middle-late-aged chinese woman who works at a chain hair salon the name of which escapes just now. I paid 15 bucks for that cut. Thanks for noticing.

Re: Singing "Gordon Lightfoot" songs !
Hey, we waited a while for 'The Gypsy" but the wait was well worth it
Awesome, as always, Tim. I love it when you share your talent with us. Very nice on both songs.
I like your version of Blossom better than the original.

Re: Singing "Gordon Lightfoot" songs !
Well, thanks Anne. You exaggerate I think. Yes, it did take me a while to get around to doing the Gypsy. I'm afraid things got a bit crazy in my life for a while and I just didn't get much time to make vids. I'm hoping to make up for it a bit over the next couple of weeks.
Now do a bit more surfing because I've uploaded yet another song. I'll leave it for now in case Jesse Joe wants to do the honors.
