Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
Graham Nash didn't sing lead all that much with The Hollies but here's a rare one with him on lead.

Interesting observation Touhy. we are now in the habit on a car journey of listening to the folk music on "The Village" channel on Sirius-XM satellite radio
I was very struck the other day to hear Teach Your Children sung as a solo for a change by Graham Nash. It was superb
I have no idea what album (if any) it was from and the nearest to a GN solo version that I could find on Youtube other than sundry covers is this short and sweet "lesson"

When it come to Pink Floyd, to me their early stuff is the best compared to their later stuff.

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
An early Carole King hit and a rather not so happy song about Summer.
Too bad she couldn't of at least tried to enjoy the summertime.

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
it's great to hear Page's distinct, well-toned voice on his own...
i'm not sure if he or Seth Rogan has trimmed down more...
fun video but live on QTV is a "real"ly terrific feature
i wonder who will be Strombo's "Holiday" (can I still say that?) show guests...

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
A campfire type tune
He and the young lead gal were nominated for acting awards this year for Winters Bone which I enjoyed as much as Melissa Leo in last years Frozen River indy film
I saw end of Oscars only and enjoyed the montage that played during Kings Speach audio byte
Were there live musical performances?
Anyhow that John Hawkes guy was less scary than most of the women in that film...then again, the lead character was a beautiful heroine

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
This might have been the first time a group of Pro Football players formed a singing group.
Besides "Dr. Brackett" on "Emergency," he was well know as starring on various westens, including "Wagon Train."
But didn't know till recently he did some singing as well.

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
Here's another Holles promo vid.
There's another 1 of these for the same song but the sound quality of this one is better.
Sung mostly by Allen Clark, but the beginning and end of course sung by Graham.
I should also note that Jenifer Eccles was also the name of another song which was one of the last songs recorded by the group before Graham left.

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
I notice this track ( I previously posted the Rolling Stone live acoustic version, found it an interesting melody ) is being used commercially during HNIC spots
This is the video which seems to have been done in one long shot, neat
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=qkCjU3ucJWk
Emily should be appearing with Broken Social Scene tomorrow at the Junos...

btw, folks who missed our Bill's video a few posts below need to catch up on that fine piece of work

I see I was wrong about Emily performing with has but she and sidekick did do the intro
I notice the track is also used for the Ontario media development commercials

And now for something completely different
UK readers just might recall this being often played on the early morning BBC Radio 2 program of Sarah Kennedy

Re: Please list/link to any of your fave music videos
Here's a British Pop singer who apparently didn't top the US charts.
Roger Whittaker- Interesting song.
