SONGBOOK ! What is your favourite unreleased track ?

I have to cast another vote for Forgive Me Lord but a very close second is one a lot of folks can't take Canary Yellow Canoe , no accounting for taste eh ? But I figure a pretty cool guy wrote it.

We played this game back in 1999 in the chatroom, when we frequently did a coundown then we all started playing the agreed chosen CD from our then new Songbook in sync no not 'Nsync but GL. I remember saying early on that Borderstone was my first unreleased favourite, but later that year Gord featured Forgive Me Lord in his 1999 Massey Hall concerts and it has been my favourite ever since.
I first heard Canary Yellow Canoe at the 1981 Royal Albert Hall London concert
I disliked it then and my opinion has not changed with time, s
sorry Gord you cannot win them all just the majority!!
Funnily enough another rarity in that concert was Keepin' On Yearnin'
and a new song was introduced by Gord under its (full he actually said "unlikely" title) of "Heaven Help The Devil.. May He Have A Few Unpleasant Memories"

John, did the CYC at Royal Albert Hall sound the same as on the recording? What was the audience reaction?

I first heard it at the Royal ALbert Hall in '81. Where were you sitting, John? I was in the front row. And I disliked the song then and still do today. It has to be my most least fave Lightfoot song.
