Char - you're picture is just fine. Thanks !

John - you and I suffer from "overthinkitus" LOL
- I have not even dig'd my Gord-autographed
Old Town Canoe Paddle from 40th b-day - 8
yrs ago I got him to sign it. On the wall
prominently in the part of the house my
wife designates officially as "Lodge
decor" !
And you asked me .oh. 2 months ago!

I have benefited so much from your kind
help, John, I think its just sometimes
life's demands time-wise make excellence
to the "nth" degree not always possible
for me and perhaps others wishing to
excel technically on a PC as you do

But, as in John Wayne's great movie from
circa '73 "The Cowboys" - the wonderful
character, the "cookie" in the chuckwagon
said to a wayward plush-chambre version
of a frontier brothel on wheels. -the
completely charming and lovely Madaam
(played by the late, great Colleen
Dewhurst) in charge, when she requested
if the cookie called Charlie Nightlinger
was interested in amorous diversion. He
replied with characteristic aplombe and
panache "Madaam, I have the means, the
maturity, and the inclination,sadly...
-I do not have the...time.
Inherant metaphor of best
possible picture ( or map data, etc,) is
self-explanatory ! I sure love that movie!

Well I do hope this little vignette was fun !

I am not entirely sure why I posted it, I just
enjoy both your posts very much. - Steve

I have found that I did write a sort of "mini-tutorial" as recently as June 2 in the topic on the PEI-NB Confederation Bridge at:-
http://www.corfid.com/ubb/ultimatebb...0202;p=#000009
I thought I had and tried to find it before replying to your denial of all knowledge of photogadget but I used the only 40% efficient corfid search engine yesterday and it failed to find it.Using google, since google indexes all of corfid, is often more reliable!!
Anyway I still intend witing an overall tutorial on manipulating pictures (mainly cropping and/or resizing) and with suggestions for some great free programmes
