I just came acros a nice review of this beer at:-

and on:-

you can read about another "Lightfoot" related beer
"Rhode Island
Brewer Forrest Williams of the Coddington Brewing Company, minutes from Newport in Middletown, has added a few beers to slake the thirst of the summer hordes of Beautiful People. One of the most exciting is a Lightfoot Ale, which is "loosely based on a Vienna recipe," said Williams. The brew has cara-Vienne, Munich and biscuit malts and 20 pounds of honey per 7-barrel batch. It is lightly hopped with Columbus hops. "I wanted to brew a beer that wasn't handcuffed to one style," said Williams. "I was tired of making a golden over and over."
Also an english brew

"LIGHTFOOT
OG 1047, ABV 5.4%
Lightfoot was created as a tribute to the other Masham brewery we acquired in 1919. It's a refreshing pale beer - dry and light with a pronounced floral hop aroma and a mellow, satisfying hoppy aftertaste. It's ideal for the summertime. The label and pump depict the Lightfoot Brewery's celebrated cricket team - and while this beer definitely won't give you the runs, it will score highly on the tastebuds"
Very pleasing to hear about the lack of after effects ..reminds me my mother loved liquorice
because as she was wont to say "it gives you a good run for your money"
John Fowles
I wish I had a glass of beer
To top it all I have just realised that last year's Canadian Idol (singing IYCRMM if I remember correctly was no less than tada! tada!
