Hi Char,

I probably would have started with "Harmony". That is because all the other passwords the Hennepin Theater Trust used lately, had something to do with the short description of the artist they gave on their website. With Gordon, they talked about his latest CD, so I just figured... Next one would have been "wreck", since the Milwaukee Pabst Theater used that and so on.
But I tell you, I was prepared with a whole list, haha. Good thing I didn't need it, otherwise I most likely would still sit here and try...

Since GL has not been in Minneapolis since May 2002, I would venture the tickets will go fairly quickly. He has always sold well here and there was a short blurb in the Sunday StarTribune a few weeks ago in the Entertainment section announcing the concert. With GL's concert itinerary that week, it doesn't appear there is any chance to add a night so get your tickets now.
I got 2 tickets in Main floor 2, row J and also hoped for better ones, since I really was right there at 12:00pm.
So you're probably right, they're holding back the best ones. Question is, for whom???

Just a meager 8 hour flight - around the corner, almost...
But you're welcome to use my guest bedroom and before the concert we're listening to Gords music for hours...

Claudia, what a tonic you are! Hey, if I can gather the fare and some pocket money, I may take you up on your so kind offer. I've never been to the Twin Cities.

The tickets for Harris, MI (Sept. 15-16) have arrived. Now with the Sept. 17 tickets secured, I will have 3 straight nights of Gord.

Still thinking about going to Wausau (Sept. 19). I may have a business commitment so I am not proceeding with that one until that week settles down.

Hope our GL friends in southern Wisconsin and Chicago provide set lists for the concerts down there after he leaves this area. We attended the 2 Gord concerts in Aurora, IL last August and what a fantastic concert hall.

Sounds like you mid-west folks (plus one Blonde Brit) are getting it all planned out! Everyone take your pens and paper so the rest of us can have reviews/set lists to read (please?)

The blonde Brit is still at the dreaming stage, I fear.

re: I got 2 tickets in Main floor 2, row J and also hoped for better ones, since I really was right there at 12:00pm. So you're probably right, they're holding back the best ones.

Although I wish you had gotten better (as I would have then as well this morning arriving a day late in the game falsely assuming the pre-sale was unobtainable by little old me etc.) this cools me off a little bit because I was a bit aghast at finding only row Q or worse available to me!.. However this really ticks me off at the same time (they did this to me in Clearwater at that Ruth Eckard Hall too).. It aint right man; the tickets should go to the people who care and who've been out there doin it for 20, 30 years etc., and not to some hotshot who hasn't bought or even heard an album since Summertime Dream etc., to impress clients or whatever.. (note: the Orpheum Theatre right across the street here (and originally listed as the venue on the Internet Companion site for this show some months back) had the boys in last time they came through the Twin Cities and Duluth (May, 2002) and we pulled down 1st row seats for the Minneapolis show that go-round).. Oh well, ok I'll shut up now; I'm in the building in row Q.. what the hell.. it'll be a Sunday night and we'll all have dates.. dance all night to the 78's.. you know the deal.. etc..
