Been awhile since I commented on the R & R Hall Of Fame.
Then again,it's been awahile since they had a list of nominees this interesting.
All singers/bands listed below are waaaaaaaaaay long overdue for induction :
KISS -
Personally #1 on my list for induction. It's time to end the bad blood
between the two uh...."warring" factors. I think we're all tired of hearing about it too.
Nirvana - I agree but I also think it's too soon for them.
Linda Ronstadt - Having worked with some of the biggst names in Rock (Eagles,Paul Simon,Chuck berry etc.,I think it's deserved.
Peter Gabriel - I couldn;t possibly think of any argument against it.
Hall and Oates - Way overdue, should have been in in the late '90s/
The Replacements - I've only heard gvood things about htem, haven;'t heard them,I think.
Yes - Simple YES on that idea.
Cat Stevens - He (Like Gordon) certainly deserves it.
Deep Purple - Do it!
The Meters - Very underappreciated in their genre of music.
The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - Not too familiar with the music but I know they should be in.
Chic - I don't care if they are disco, they made the "Best" disco of the 1970s. Great production work.
The Zombies - Also underappreciated. I have "The Ebst of The Zombies and theyr'e msuic speaks for itself.
I'm personally Including the longest overdue actThe Moody Blues.
What is the R&RHOF's problem with them? Maybe their not as much rock as
they are "art rock" but still, they deserve it and I'll keep saying so until they're inducted.
My opinion on :
LL Cool J - Not an argument from me,he's honed his rap act since age 13 in 1981.
N.W.A. - While not exactly my kind of thing,I feel they are just as eligible as any artist(s) with an attitude.
Link Wray - Not familar with the act's works
Go KISS!!! YEAH!
