Hi, Am wondering if anyone can refer me to the title of the movie that Gordon Lightfoot referred to when he used the line "'bout a ghost from a wishin. well" in "If you could read my mind" I believe it refers to an old movie I saw as a child (and it was old then) and might have been a film about the Cantervile ghost, but do not see one that old as listed (oldest seems to be the Charles Kaughton film which was not the one).
I realize that I'm responding to a nearly 2 year old message but if Gord was referring to a movie when he mentions the ghost from a wishing well,I would guess "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir..an oddly touching film,as well as being very well written and acted. Rent it,it's worth it.
Brink, yeah I've seen "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" about 5 or 6 times. It's one of the few movies about ghosts that I can watch without getting uncomfortable about the idea of the ghost. I don't believe in them but there's somthing about certain movies in that vein that don't "sit right" with me. Well,it's been the boo...er,ah the B! Catch ya on the flipside of Sundown!
