I took delivery of my Pearl Forum drumset last week, unlike my electric set this is the real McCoy.... anyway I tell you even though I had been faithfully banging away on my parents furniture and what not as a youngster then moving up to my electric set, some of the stuff Barry Keane does just blows my mind away.... yesterday I must have tried for an hour to try and get down his hi hat trick on 14 Karat Gold.... I gave up in frustration... LOL

Of course it didn't help my brain was addled by paint funes...

I did however get the Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald down pat

Not sure if anyone is interested but here is the set....

Is that where the paint fumes were coming from? Nice set. Good luck, but since you had the electric set you should have Barry Keane on the run soon! When you become rich and famous and play in Gord's band remember us little people on corfid.

Thanks Brink but I don't think Barry has to worry about losing his job with GL

I can do 90% of Barry Keane stuff, as far as those two other guys.... no.

I listen to mostly classic rock.... can't really do any complicated stuff at the moment.

You set drums up in your dungeon? What a waste of a perfectly good dungeon! Invite me over and I'll 'splain what to do with those "I" hooks in the ceiling.

For it’s dark as a dungeon and it’s damp as the dew
Where the dangers are double the pleasures are few
Where the rain never falls the sun never shines
It's dark as a dungeon way down in the mines...
