Good find Patti!! Thanks I'll have to give it a listen !

Of all the concerts I've been to the past few years, going to the Mariposa has been on my wish list. Today, I interviewed for a job that would start soon and require me to work weekends...as have most of my jobs! My dreams of going to the folk fest will likely remain just that.

Best I don't drive too far anyway since I've had the most rotten luck with my car! Last week I had a little accident @mile from home and had to have my windshield replaced but thanks to my quick-thinking...the deer is still alive . Closer to home, backing my car out a few feet as I headed out for the interview -I hit my neighbors p/u truck! Lots of damage to the back end of my car but only minor scratches on the truck. Of course, no windshield coverage or collision insurance -to save $$$ I took it off my policy 2 months ago .

I'm not planning on going to Mariposa Folk Festival either, (can't afford passport, tickets, gas, etc.) but I was just looking at the website today, and found the flash player. Played the music for a few hours, and liked most of it.

I had to get a new windshield a few years back for the same reason. Glad you're alright. Hope you can find a good deal on another windshield close by, etc. Just in case,... you might try the internet and see if that helps.

I had the windshield replaced last week but I have yet to figure out what to do about the damage to my car . I'm afraid that the hatch won't close again once I open it. If I can get the panel off and borrow a rubber mallet from someone...maybe I can bang out the dent. Thankfully, after my landlord looked over his son's truck, he didn't find any damage that I'd have to be responsible to pay for too.

But I will try to listen to the music on the Mariposa website later tonight, I'm sure it will cheer me up. Thanks Patti

i've had several birthdays at Mariposa and even without a Happy Birthday shout out from GL, it's been fabulous..even the lightning/rain storm a couple of years ago..every moment with my friends at a GL concert in Orillia/Mariposa has been awesome.

yep it's a Mazda. They were manufactured in '93 & '94 as cheap version of the Eddie Bauer, Ford Explorer. It's getting repaired tomorrow

It's fixed...had to bang the dent out some (so there's still a dent) because the rear window wouldn't close, the lock on that door wouldn't work nor the wiper. All is working now!

Sounds like you're enjoying the book I set aside a couple of books that I didn't like and probably won't finish reading. I have a small stack to start on but want to finish reading one other book 1st.
