Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
Shutup,
that was too funny.
Our Gord in a dream like that?
Too funny,
What the heck did you eat before you went to sleep?
Char,
Your comments sound like more than a dream girlie, "dreams really do come true, a dream is a wish from the heart..." hm-m-m me thinks with one eyebrow up in an alarming position. funny.
Man if Gord ever read this stuff he would NEVER stop laughing.
But, no, seriously, I had a dream and Gord was singing this song in one of those artsy fartsy Zen/high art Chinese documentaries, it was in cantonese so I couldn't make out the words (I don't speak the language, I thought now what kind of dream is this?, so Gord is singing in this high opera voice and my ears start to hurt.
So what do you guys make of this?
I thought we had a dream interpreter here, cause, buddy, I need to have that dream interpreted... desperately.
As it turns out when I awoke the kettle was skreeching so that goes to show you how dreams and our rock whereupon we lay our heads does play some significance.
So, Borderstone where do you lay your head? Maybe you need to change directions, ya know if it's Eaast to West maybe you need to go to North and South or something that tunes in your dreams to give you crystal clear channneling.

Hey Gwen! It's been a LONG time!
I don't know why I had that dream. At least it wasn't like 'A Nightmare On Elm Street'.

oooooooooooohhhhh...what do I have to eat before I go to bed so that I can have a dream about Gordon?
Well, a month or so ago I do believe I DID FINALLY have a dream with Gordon in it. But my memory is so bad that I couldn't recall a thing about it.

Interesting dream Pam, I think of Gordon Lightfoot every time of the day. Im sure I must have had some dream about him, but cant seem to remember even one. Wouldn't it be weird if you spotted the guy who was in your dream that you never saw before, at Massey in May ??

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
[quote=Cathy;114644]I once had a dream that a bunch of us were sitting front row center at Massey Hall. Gord invited Derek and me up on stage to do our versions of Don Quixote and Ribbon Of Darkness. Terry gave his guitar to Derek, and Gord handed his D-18 over to me. I slung the strap over my shoulder and put my arms around the guitar, and the thing started growing. It got bigger and bigger until I could no longer reach the neck or the strings. It was approximately the size of a stand up double bass. Derek kept saying, "Start the song, Cathy. Start the song, Cathy... Will you start the song? What's the hold-up? Start the damned song!" I was freaking out, because the guitar wouldn't stop growing, and every one in the audience was laughing hysterically. Gord didn't help me out at all. He just stood there with a frantic, shocked look on his face, saying something like, "Hey! What are you doing to my guitar?" Terry was sitting on his amp, leaning ahead, shoulders heaving in fits of uncontrollable laughter. I could hear Rick chuckling in the background. It was a traumatic experience! I think I woke up hyperventilating and gasping for air.

Cathy, this was hilarious! I really was laughing out loud, so several office mates had to check it out too, and we all had a good laugh. Believe me, it was really therapeutic.

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
That was quite a dream Pam. I had a couple of them last fall, two Tuesday nights in a row, but not quite a vivid as yours. In one dream he called me up and wanted me to come over. I went and I told him I brought breakfast and he said that was fabulous. Then four guys came over and we were talking and one guy and I looked out the window at my car and he asked how my tires were and I said they were alright. Then a bunch of other people started coming over.
Another dream, there were a bunch of us riding in a car and we were happily talking about some concert plans.
Then two or three weeks ago I had one dream and I was walking with him and he was carrying a bucket with a candle in it, and I told him that I had a bucket with a candle in it just like his at the top of the driveway and I could tell that he wanted me to get it. Now I want to have another dream where I have my candle bucket too. .... oh well.

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
Wow Pam Good one. Think that guy who needed the shave could have been me? I have dark hair & glasses but i haven't had a leather jacket since I was 20.
Just got caught up reading all of this...I think we all need a dream therapist! LOL!
None to report here from myself but hopefully soon.

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
Candle
To see a burning candle in your dream, signifies that good luck and hope will be coming your way in small and steady amounts. You are in a comfortable stage in your life and may be seeking spiritual enlightenment. Lit candles are also symbolic of intellect, enlightenment, awareness or the search for truth.

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
Well,my turn once again.
Last night/early morn I had this fairly simple yet unique dream that Gordon, myself,Ian (of Ian & Sylvia) and David Gates were getting on a tour bus to go to San Francisco.
Before boarding the bus we broke into a strange rendition of "Early Morning Rain" that kind of looked like a music video (in the dream) and that went like this:
"Into the San Francisco rain,
on a tour bus we will ride."
"Over the Golden Gate so tall
and through Haight-Ashbury besides".
"So we best be on our way......into the San Francisco rain."
To top it off,Gord was dressed in dark clothes and had that post-UA long curly hair & that new moustache that he had grown, like in that clip for "Saturdy Clothes".
I understand why Ian was there but David Gates' presence is puzzling.
Another doozy of a dream but still .

Re: "It's Time For A Gordontime Dream!"
Here's a new on from last night. I Dreamed that Gordon and some young woman (Gord was young too) were in an "unusual" wedding ceremony.
They were singing "Nous Vivons Ensamble" to each-other (with music which I heard clear as a bell) and before the end of the cermony, instead of having a wedding cake they playfully fed fruit to each-other.
A description for you ladies out there: No priest or minister there and Gordon was dressed in those light blue clothes from the Sundown LP cover but was clean-shaven and his hair was as curled as it was in 1970. (I'm sure that's a neat image for you. LOL!)
Anyhow, during this, some other woman walked up to Gordon and handed him a piece of paper and ........then the phone rang and woke me!
Never know how it ended but pretty neat dream.
