I found this posted today online on the Marion Chronicle Tribute (Indiana) at http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/new...s/1164570.html

HONEYWELL CENTER, 275 W. Market St., Wabash, will host these events: 8 p.m. March 29, Voice of the Dragon, $9-$24; 3 p.m. April 13, Peter Rabbit, $2-$8; 8 p.m. May 3, Gordon Lightfoot, $10-$26. For ticket information, call the ticket office, 1-219-563-1102 or 1-800-626-6345, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Anybody know about this? It was my understanding there would be no concerts this year - they haven't been notified??

I phoned Honeywell Center Box Office this morning just to verify what I'm sure we already knew . . . the concert is canceled. Maybe next year?!

I saw this thread and was hoping it was true... Ah well. Hopefully this time next year we will be reading reviews and set lists.

No, unfortunately, it's going to be a long, dry year. But, lest we feel sorry for ourselves and our misfortune of not getting to see Gord this year, just think of what it must be like for HIM! As hard as it is to imagine that he could enjoy seeing US as much as we enjoy seeing HIM, I'll bet that, at this point, it's probably true. So we'll keep our fingers crossed and keep saying our prayers and I think we'll get our wishes granted next year. Can you just imagine how great it's going to be to see him again? Ooh, gives me goosebumps!

Yes, he'll have to add an extra half hour to the shows to take into account all the whoopin' and hollerin' when he takes the stage again.

Or, even more likely, he'll have to play some bigger venues to accomodate the pent-up desire to see and hear him again. Naturally, he's likely to open either at Massey or in Orillia...both of which are wonderful, neither of which can hold the audience that will be ready and waiting for OUR "love's return."
