In the latest issue there is a brief article on "If You Could Read My Mind" plus guitar tab/music notation. "Me and Bobby McGee" also in the issue with cross reference.

That's "funny". I'm a subscriber to that magazine and a few months ago got a survey from them about what I like or dislike about it and what I would like to see.
I took that opportunity and told them they shouldn't neglect such great artists like Gordon Lightfoot - it apparantly worked... lol.

Acoustic Guitar Mag. was one of the "very" few to review Harmony when it came out. I think they should do a monthly LP by LP,retrospective on Gordon's work.
In essence, what the music's about,Gordon himself and maybe more of the younger gen. will get interested enough to listen.

There has been many stories on Gordon Lightfoot in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, through the years. Just check Googles. Just click on the Googles name above then type in (Gordon Lightfoot in Acoustic Guitar Magazine). And you will get many articles on Lightfoot in the magazine...
You can also check this link below..

I used to have a link to an article about Lightfoot's gear on my www.gordonlightfoot.com home page. I withdrew my site for a couple of years, but just recently brought it back, although in a somewhat different form. If you go to the "Article Archive" page, you'll see links to a lot of articles, some mine, some on other sites. You'll find the link to the gear article down at Jan 2000. It's the article Jessi-Joe was refering to, but his link didn't go to the article. A fascinating read!
By the way, I have a mailing list on my web site. I try to let people know about significant news, both about Lightfoot and about folk music news. If you aren't on the mailing list, you may want to join.
Also, on the Albums page, I list every CD released through 2004, with the exception of a couple of recent anthologies. I include some details on the various CDs that contain the 5 UA albums, so for those of you who are still acquiring your "complete" collection, the notes there may be helpful. I also recently added a new web page called Lightfoot on DVD that includes everything available with the exception of the Live 8 video. As that contains only one song - which is of course also on Live In Reno - I didn't mention it there.
