If you have approved of a POP UP notification when a PRIVATE MESSAGE is sent to you by another member @ corfid you will see that on your screen.
To change that option it is in your PROFILE section.
You can also get the notification that there is a Private Message here @ corfid via e-mail. That is how I receive PM's and why I have never seen a pop up here at corfid.
I, as moderator do not SEND 'pop-ups'.
This is an automatic function set by you in your profile to receive notification of private messages. If I send you a PM and that is how you have your settings then a pop-up will be sent when you log onto corfid. You then have to go to your profile page and open the PM box to read the message.
hey, thx char... i don't get pop ups (what are they?) or emails (to my knowledge, unless i entered some dummy addy) but I do see a discreet Notification notice under the top right corner window where it says Welcome jj
it has the number of new pm's one has received since last login...works for me
