Had a brief brush with Hollywood today -- Tim Reid (Venus Flytrap) runs a video production company in Virginia...he and his crew were in our college TV studio today shooting a documentary interview. Very nice guy to be around!

loved WKRP - catch it in re-runs once in a while.
Saw him in some episodes of That 70's Show...

W-KRP was one of the great all-time TV shows.

I remember Hoyt Axton in one episode!

You can watch episodes online via HULU or fancast: http://www.fancast.com/tv/WKRP-in-Ci.../full-episodes

I watched Turkeys Away ("as God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly!") last week.

I read somewhere that the problem with the music, and release as originally broadcast on air, has been getting the rights to all the original music that aired first time around. I guess nobody thought to put it in the contracts that when they paid for the rights, they should be able to use the music again (with suitable royalty payments) with subsequent showings. So they had to fill in with fake "bands" and songs. It does detract some but man, what a funny show.

I never could watch "The New WKRP in Cincinnati"; sort of like "AfterMASH" - trying to catch lightning in a bottle a second time around. It never works.
