Songwriter's Hall of Fame

Although I don't recall that Gordon had been on the ballot when I was a member back in the late 80's, early 90's...I sent an email along to the SHOF to ask if and when Gordon had been, and here's the response that I received today!

Gordon has been on the nominations list for a number of years and was on a ballot that went out to the membership for their vote in the late '90s (I don't have a specific year). Everyone on the committee is well aware of Gordon's impressive catalog, and I'm sure he'll be on another ballot in the future.
