Well Goodness Gracious Me!
Having had recently to deal with what I asumed to be off shore responders to enquiries at a UK bank helpline,I greatly enjoyed reading a letter to the editor of the UK Daily Telegraph which said
"Hung up
Sir - You report that the rudeness of English callers is causing ill-health among call centre employees in India (Issue 859).
Has anybody researched the terrible stress suffered by the British in dealing with the centres’ canned responses and total inability to deal with any issue not covered by their by-rote training?
Michael West, Eastleigh, Hampshire"
So much so that I had to find the original article and a modicum of googling unearthed:-

one lady,Aggarwal, an English graduate, said she planned to quit, tired of wishing customers a good morning only to hear:
"Oh, I’m through to India am I? Put me through to someone who can understand English, you f****** cow."
Happily "The Indian government is very concerned about the problem and is preparing to launch a health strategy for the workers"
