<Everybody needs a little time away
I heard her say, from each other
Even lovers need a holiday
Far away from each other
Hold me now
It's hard for me to say I'm sorry
I just want you to stay...>

Whenever I hear the opening lyrics to "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" I get choked up . Chicago is a great band with some very sad love songs.

I'll never see Chicago live until they make nice with Peter Cetera. For me,it's just never been the same group since 1985. I just finished collecting all of their top 40 hits at summer's start.

Jennifer,I love "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" as well but I prefer it with the big "jazzy/upbeat" ending found on Chicago 16.

It's also on the soundtrack to the 1982 film flop,"Summer Lovers".
Never seen it but if I recall right,it was one of the biggesat failures of '82. :D
