There have been some interesting revelations from Gord in recent interviews.

All time fave artist... Dylan.

His own fave work... East of midnight.

What rev have you found interesting or surprising from any time?

Frank.

As THE MAN himself said on July 8/2000 backstage at Mariposa to moi- " can you believe they wouldn't let us perform at the first Mariposa because we sounded "too much like the Everly Brothers!" He then proceeded to tell us ( 5 people) that he couldn't understand why - with that little grin and twinkle in his eye - and then sang several lines of "Wake Up Little Susie!" "We did several Everley tunes in our repertoire - that didn't help!"
all said wth a geniality and assuredness that singular success can bring. Way to go Gord!!
Gord was at Dylans concert here in Toronto last night.
The one song I have ever heard him say he enjoys doing every concert night - MY fave - Beautiful! HELLO Gord!!!! I believe!!!!

Frankv...I have not seen the interviews, could you let us know where to find them? I was hoping his all-time favorite artist was...Elvis!

Char,
Great post...as ever.
(Any more Gord in Orillia).

Tom,
Florian kindly provided one on this site.
It can be found under my old topic "Sound Broadcasts".
There was also one from "Country Music People".
Look under Silver Heels old topic "UK Fan unite".

Interviewer: What would you have done if you had not got into the music industry.

GL: Maybe retired.

SHOCK!!!
Our lives would have been so different...
Florian. The genius of this site would never have happened!
