Awww you're too kind, Char. Just breaking in my spanking new 24-track recorder, it's a blast. And what better to start off with than music from The Man himself.

Re: If You Could Read My Mind
Now this sure is a pleasant surprise for us from TG.
For the benefit of readers who see this and have been at the pub jam sessions in Toronto during the Massey Hall concerts, TG is the tall guy who participates in the sessions but until now was known to us as a bass player only.
It reminded me of a newsgroup chat I had with Gord's friend Richard Harrison when at one point during a tour they were on and Gord and he were invited to a party. Someone handed Gord a guitar and then another guitar was handed to Richard, assuming he played lead and after the session Gord turned to him and said "is there anything else about you I don't know?" Richard at that point worked in the technical end of things but he hung out with Red and Terry a lot and became an accomplished lead guitarist as well.
But now that the "tall guy who plays the bass" has something else that we now know; well, oil up those pipes there TG as requests will be on for some of that vocal sound at the next pub jam gig.
Great stuff man!
RJ.

Re: If You Could Read My Mind
Well you're very kind, my friend Ron. I'm having a hoot with this multi-track recorder and hope to do a bunch of Lightfoot songs over time (and hope to do them some measure of justice). Good words like yours mean a lot coming from an accomplished musician like yourself, thank you.
By the way, I really enjoyed your CD, you did terrific covers of Lightfoot and some other songs, too.
