Just got back from Elliot Lake which is way up north in Ontario. I was there for 4 days and the first thing that popped into my mind is the song Whispers of The North and Gordon Lightfoot... I can see where his canoe trips in the wildnerness have inspired many of his tunes... I heard the cry of the loons up there at the crack of dawn and the vast expanse of forest and evergreens and the rock formation is something else. Oh ya I brought my Lightfoot tunes to listen to all the way up there.
