As the current record label for Gordon Lightfoot, are you aware of any plans by Mr.Lightfoot to release anymore of his previously unrecorded material? Also are you planning on making Waiting For You available at Puretracks.com the Canadian answer to ITunes?

Thanks in advance.

I feel for you Gord! He could have at least replied to you. Hopefully it's not because he only came up here to simply promote GL and then leave. That's just a little bit "corporate" if you know what I mean.

If Geoff wants to post here heshould at least return every now & then. It's only polite. Don't you agree? Been me,Aurevoir!

I've found them to be courteous and informative. Linus are doing a great job!

No, I don't agree. He's getting paid to promote the CD and that's what he's doing. It's refreshing to me that somebody in Gord's camp finally realizes that the Internet is a good place to do promotions.

How "big" is Linus? How many employees do they have. I hate to say this, but, ah, well, they do have other artists as well that they have to at least spend a little time on *ducks*.

Gordon may not, perish the thought, be the center of THEIR universe the way he is ours. If you're a small label there is only so much time and so many resources to go around.

I don't know if any of you have noticed but after the word Linus there's the WB moniker.

If Gordon's gone independent, what's WB's part in all of this I wonder? Any ideas?...cause I don't get it.

It's not uncommon. A small label doesn't have what it takes to get a CD into stores etc. They're depending on WB's distribution network.

I do not know Gordon's plans for the future. I am only grateful he is allowing us to be his label for this album. Hope every GL fan out there can assist us in promoting the album, wherever you can - word of mouth, email friends.

How about a perfect gift for the wife or mother on mother's day - the CD or a DL of the iTunes "Inspiration Lady".
