I picked this up a few years ago...kinda nice. It hangs in my kitchen window and measures a mere 4"T x 8"W. It does light nicely though (on sunny days), and it scanned pretty accurately.

Very cool! The museum store up at Whitefish Point has a lot of very cool Edmund Fitzgerald items. I'm about 75 miles south of there, and visit there at least a couple of times a year. Am heading up there next week!
Hi Charlene,
The name is printed from one of those label makers - on a clear piece of tape. The portholes feel like little press-on buttons - most likely from a craft store. I am glad you asked though - I never even checked until now. I found this on eBay a few years ago while searching for the ships history. I paid about $20. for what must have been hours of someone's time and skill. Probably could have been twice this length - to get away from the tug boat look...but still I like it hanging around. Thanks!

(hmmm) "sounds to me like you just may be taking on this little task - and possibly to the next level. I have little doubt that an experienced stained glass artisan can do bigger and better than this - so if you do.....I, (we'd) love to see the pics!"
