Hi Yves. The chords for "Go My Way" from the songbook "Summer Side of Life" are G,D,Em,Bm,C, Am,F,A,E. When the D chord is played the thumb covers the low E string on the second fret. Let me know if you need more help. Ron Jones.

If you visit the Wayne Francis site you will find the chords to all his songs. I tend to believe they are correct, they sound right to me, and as the preface states....adjust the capo to your vocal range. Lightfoot's chord progressions are not complex. What is complex is the magic he weaves around them.

Thanks for your answers. They confirm what I thought. I have only heard the Tony Rice's version on the album "Tony Rice sings Gordon Lightfoot", a bluegrass version.
I finish 4 french versions of my own of "song for a winter's night", "Home of the forest", "Im not saying" and "Inspiration Lady". I hope you can find them soon at CD BABY's. Bill HALL has already heard the version of "inspiration lady"...
