Default Re: Glen campbell - r.i.p.

I'm long overdue on this.

There's been so many passings and I've been
busier than I ever was at the hotel, at my work.

Glen Campbell will always mean a lot to me. Mainly because he did what he wanted to do in his music and despite some I talked to saying his music was ;C & W cheese' , I feel quite the opposite.

His 60s songs are now classics and if that's not enough for people, Rhinestone
Cowboy and other 70s hits cemented
his place in country and just music in general.

I also have to share this with you guys. Over a year and a half ago, I had a dream about Mr. Campbell. I got on a bus here in town and Glen was the driver!

I asked him a weird question, "Hey Glen, where's your cowboy hat?"

I don't believe he replied but he did suddenly have one
on his head. (I think it's the one from the R.C. album cover.

Anyhow, when I found out I was at the library. (Not my
usual posting one, I actually don't live near that one anymore.)

Seriously bummed then and still am.

Rest In Peace Glen .
