well done Jeff
There are for those who do not yet know a number of GL related Yahoo Groups
most can be found by simply entering "gordon Lightfoot" in the search box under "Join A Group"at:- http://groups.yahoo.com/
But a listing includes:-
Valerie's Mailing list/Discusion Group at:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/GordonLightfoot/
david Sims Fan club at:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group...htfootfanclub/
the (caffe Lena) GL Tribute Band group at:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group...htfootTribute/
all three above have open membership
There are also two inactive groups started by a one time poster here Leslie a.k.a. LAMS
Both of which require membership approval
her old one "crossroads" at:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group...rdonLightfoot/
which has 30 members
lasst mesage March 2003 by Janice
no photos in the "photo" section
but strangely several in various folders in the "files" section including this stunning shot of Gordon in Florida being given a weather report by Silverheels (warm and moist in the UK!)

and the more recent and equally futile "biscuit city"
which now boasts a staggering 4 members
only one of which (not me and I am not staggering either!!) has ever posted a message no photos no files nothing there at:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/BiscuitCity/
Note that in order to join any of the above one must (painlessly) create a Yahoo identity
then reenter the ID and password every time you want to visit Yahoo groups which is a pain in the you know where
Note that you can select from only reading messages by visiting the gfroup to receiving each message by email or (recommended) receiving a consolidated daily digest
HTH Hope That Helps
Sorry Bru to raise that subject yet again!!

Why do they call it "head over hreels" in love if our head is always over our heels??

Edited to change picture link from a non functioning "notlong" address that linked to the Yahoo page to a limited life "hostmyfile "upload link
(Yahoo obviously does not allow hot-linking and the limited life of the hosting site should mean it will cease working soon to save Bruna further embarrassment
