In the time it's been since this message and the 4 years since,"Songbook's",release I know that the major amount of the sales have been by avid listner's like us. Some of those have been by people who haven't heard GL in a long time and wish to re-connect and I'm sure some were just curious to see if there was more to him than just a handful of hits. Overall,I'd say sales were satisfactory, because at the Sam Goody where I bought the only one on the shelf,I've since seen it replaced time after time for sometimes it wasn't there andthen was back.// Speaking of Songbook,on Saturday I visited my oldest brother on the east side of town and took my CD's with me. We listened to a few and then asked if he could borrow them for taping. I don't see him becoming a GL fanatic but he does like folk and 70's music. He didn't know though that Carefree Highway was about the one here in AZ. I had to laugh at that. Been me,later!
