Think I may have been through there a time or two. Can remember going though Hurley, Wi. on a Greyhound bus at Christmas time, when there was so much snow, that there were two lanes on some streets, with big snow banks in between...right down the middle of the street.
Living by Lake Superior, one was almost always aware of the Lake......one could hear
it, smell it, identify with it, love it, fear it. Depending on which way the wind was blowing, the temperature would change drastically within a matter of minutes, because of the Lake.
Feel very lonesome for it now. Sigh.......
