I missed this one a while back, but it's such a great topic, I want to take a stab at it. In my response, I will assume that Gord is playing alone, without the band, and that the setting is a small coffee house in a seaside town in Nova Scotia, with an audience of about 10 (Lightfoot fans all). I am going to omit any song I've heard in concert (including Beautiful, Christian Island and SFAWN, each of which otherwise would be on my list), because I'm picturing this as an intimate setting and time to hear some rarities. In this setting, the mood is set by the smell of the coffee, the sound of the waves and the crackle of the fireplace.
