Like I think I mentioned somewhere else, the 1999 'Songbook' IS remastered, so we already have 88 songs updated.

What I'm getting REALLY ANNOYED AT

is Warner Bras. not releasing the 'Final Four'!!
We're being held hostage! What do they want--my first born? Fine! My UA CDs? Fine! My whatever? Fine!

We've got people from all over the world here--seems like mostly writers and ATTORNEYS. Couldn't we file suit under the Freedom of Info Act (US law) to "borrow" these masters, with Gord's OK, of course? There must be someone at Eastern Sound who could re-master the tapes! After she finishes her current project, Char could start burning the remastered masters onto CDs and we'll all send Gord our $15US (100CAN?) per and we'll all live in a happier world.

Relax, Florian, I'm not REALLY plotting a hostile takeover bid of WB, least not today. But this IS a violation of the US Constitution and Code--Cruel and Unusual Punishment! IMHO, anyway.
