My (American) vote is for CRT. I agree re TWOTEF, and IYCRMM is one of my favorites but is not particularly *Canadian* - it appeals to very universal feelings. CRT is iconic in its subject and writer/performer.
"Puppy Love"??? Sorry, I'm fine with Paul Anka for "My Way" and the theme from the Tonight Show, but that one and "She's Havin' My Baby" - gag gag gag. At least PL was of its time, a teen angst special,complete with sob in the voice.
