I haven't seen this many posts this fast... since I was away from the site for two weeks with a busy workload in December! Cathy, your mis-spelled message gave me a migraine!
Doug,if this was a Lightfoot board actually able to exist in the 1970's & 80's we'd have "tons" to talk about where he's concerned. In the past year that I've been here,we've been lucky to have anything to discuss at all. Not exactly a happy topic to talk about a man's near-d. experience.

We were happy to talk about his recovery though and the news of Harmony's (formerly Twenty) impending release. Other than that, all we've had are speculative questions of,"what would you do if", or,"what does such and such a song mean", and a lot of other really good questions related to Gord.

As far as albums go,all they have had since the site started was,"Painter","Songbook",The Final Four,"Complete Greatest Hits","Classic Masters", and his 20th original studio project.

I made a similar statement a few months back and since then I've realized,it may be a Gordon Lightfoot discussion board, but that doesn't mean you can't have other conversations,as long as they're worth reading.

As far as spelling goes,I wish everyone was a great speller but websites are just a way to pass the time.
Like TV,Radio,Movies, actual human activity that requires leaving the house once in awhile! Simply put,it's just a website and not a serious life priority. We're all Lightfoot fans but we do other things outside of this as well.

Now,aren't you glad you got to see one of my very well thought out, typed and correctly spelled messages?? You're thanking me already aren't ya? "What a speller!" Aurevoir!
