I agree that tribute albums are usually nothing to get super-excited about. Look at "Two Rooms" the tribute album to Elton John and Bernie Taupin. A few intersesting interpretations,best of all Wilson/Phillips version of "Daniel". Worst,Rod Stewart doing,"Your Song". There should be a law passed that people with raspy voices not do ballads. How about,"Common Thread",the country music tribute to the Eagles? It was cool at first but after awhile I went back to the originals. The unfortunate fate of these compilations,is that once you're bored of them,you take them to the 1st used music store that'll take pity on this CD,Tape or LP. I still have the Eagles one,mainly because I paid for it,so I may as well keep it. (Besides,I know no one will take it,they're overstocked with it already! Later!
