Denver has a lot of flights to Vegas, straight shots they say. If the plane isn't full they sell really cheap tickets. I can wait because I am within driving distance of Vegas and don't mind road trips. My situation may be different than yours. I can't advise you but in my case with Spring Break over with I think that the fare from Denver to Vegas will be less than it is now. If I'm wrong I'll be "On the Road Again".
We are staying at the Orleans too.
