Schoolyard bully haters ,
Reluctantly (kicking & screaming) I have to admit John Fowles is obviously an icon in Corfid. His work and efforts are there for all of us to see and are undeniable. Those who chuckle at the cheap shots I throw in his direction are well aware of it too. The humour that is intended is mainly funny to some of us because it is so unfair to pick on someone who doesn't deserve it. John is a classic. (That doesn’t offer him protected species status though!)

And thats enough grovelling over the Master
- How about a joke:

One day a man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very
sexy nightie. "Tie me up," she purred, "and you can do anything you want."
So he tied her up and went to the pub..............
