LOL, i think the night was full of witty moments that are pretty hard to relay to all, unless you've got a winderful way with words, as char does! ... i was also looking around (and also in conversation) for him at that point ...i was also wondering if he had arrived before and not after Mad Violet's soft pants/hands story...either way, with his great wit, he probably dug it, as long as he didn't think it was implying he was going hard on the hearing, he's too young for that (although, i dunno what my excuse is

i also wondered what he thought of that Sundown version, that was certainly on the other end of the spectrum from Jacob's, lol

speaking of opposite ends of the spectrum, i once saw Moxy open for Dylan at Massey, yup, a quite odd evening THAT was!
char, i think CTV would do the overblown (but slick) job of it whereas CBC would do a more homey (but glitchy, lol) version...i sure wouldn't mind my tax dollars going to that cause
but the narrator would probably talk over all the music as per usual...i'd do it for free but there's be all those mechanical and performance royalties to deal with...agh.,..then again, we could sell copies and raise $ for Gord's fave cause and all that good stuff (as well as get our keepsake
