Back in the late 70's, when Gord toured through the Northeast, Liona was his opening act at the concerts I attended. I was very impressed with her, but I often wondered why he chose a classical guitarist to open for him. They seemed to respect each other as they would often mention each other in their sets, but never performed together that I remembered. A couple of years later I came across her Christmas album and bought it.
Is she still performing/recording Lil? What cd would you recommend? Thanks for a reason to travel down memory lane.
