Did anybody happen to catch the Edmund Fitzgerald Webcast from the Great Lakes Maritime Institute? It's about 2 hours long and is an interview with the captain of the William Clay Ford. I'd type in GLMI, then search, and click on EF Webcast.
Cathy- I saw you in Saratoga 4/26/03. Great show! Will there be another this year?
"Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the rooms of her ice water mansion"
LOVE that line, but am wondering exactly how does the lake sing? The wind? Waves?
Anyone out there have an idea?
Hi, and thanks for the kind words. I'm seriously considering doing another one this summer. It's become a bit of a tradition with Caffe Lena, and they love us because all the proceeds go back towards renovating the cafe. Last April, we raised over $1700 for them.
I'm not sure, if we do another, that it will be the same group of people. It's hard to get the four of us together because we're spread out all over the country. But, if any of the other four can't make it, we'll recruit some new musicians. I'm sure there are many around, and probably quite a few right here in Corfidland who are itching to do one of these tributes. There is nothing more fun than getting together to play Lightfoot music!
Did I meet you while in Saratoga? I met so many people that night that it's impossible to remember everyone.
Cathy
