It's entirely possible that the security guard never even spoke with Gord or anyone in Gord's entourage and took it upon himself to ask you to leave. It is not usually left to them to go ask Gord if a certain person can be let in. That's what Barry Harvey is for and he is usually very generous and accomodating. I'd bet that no one in Gord's group was aware that this even occurred.
