I've been a Gordon Lightfoot fan for many
years. I own all his albums, including a
couple of weird, third party collections.
Of all the hundreds of songs, the one that's
been my favorite almost from the beginning
is Beautiful. Why? If you love someone, how
could it not be.
I can't believe no one mentioned The Canadian
Railroad Trilogy, one of the best songs ever
written. I can see it happening when I listen.
