To be honest, we shoulda figured it out.. cuz we were at like, the only pub that was open in the whole town that evening; some sports bar right around the corner from the hall etc..
The place was packed fer a pre-show happy hour, but then slowly people started to filter out about 6:30-6:45..
and bein the experienced Gordquesting veterans that we is, you'd think we'd have figured out when we were like, the last two dummies still sittin there drinkin beer and munchin appetizers etc..
"Um, where'd everybody go?".. you'd think we'd think..
Anyway, normally we'd walk to the theater a couple hours before the show as a matter of course..
just to verify things, get our bearings, check the start time etc..
before we go for refreshments and munchies..
and even then we'd be at the venue a good 1/2 hour early too..
but bein that this was the end of a 3 shows-in 3 nights-roadtrip for us (Kalamazoo Friday, Ann Arbor Saturday, South Bend Sunday)..
well.. maybe we were a little blown out by then etc..
Actually now that I look at it..
http://www.lightfoot.ca/2002.htm
we saw the Minneapolis and Duluth shows the next week so, that was a run of 5 shows in about 10 days there fer us..
Good times mates..
real good times..
etc..
