We had a most gratifying number of chatters last Friday including Rick a newcomer from Reno to whom Gaby and I introduced the existence of the corfid Discussion Forum.
He wasted no time and has already opened a topic about a new poster. We were also able to welcome back a fan from Vermont where I believe they make wood-burning stoves (which I know are actually sold in England) so "woodstove" don't wait so long for another visit!!
Prolific Newsgroup poster Douglas Crowe from Kentucky also debuted plus some fellow apparently Somewhere Up In Michigan turned up to converse.
Again tonight I will be there to welcome everybody who wishes to avail themselves of Ed Mullen's generosity with the bottle!!

finally it has been suggested thst anybody on their own on New Years Eve could meet in the room. I expect that Susan and I will be busy with the family so will likely have to give it a miss. If there is such a meeting (suggested time the usual 9PM EST) perhaps somebody who is sober on January the First could post a short report here
