I'm so proud of Gordon and can't wait for his comeback show in El Cajon. Brilliant brilliant songwriter. A song about being happy in a domestic scene, Lazy Mornin' what a great song. Most people think songs have to be dramatic or unusual. In that sedate scene, he lets us know he's happy, "I do more livin' than it might seem.: Many times I've gotten chills listening to Gordon's music, voice and exquisite lyrics. He's a good classy dignified human being as well. He may be "thinking of girls with their fingers in my curls" right this minute. It's going to be standing ovation time at the Sycuan Showcase Casino on April 22. Long live Gordon Lightfoot! The man and his music have brought tears to my eyes, and that's high praise.
