You're right, it's Sarah MacLachlan.
I found a link to the full song on Sarah's site.
It's on a Christmas compilation album called "A Winter's Night", which also features a cool version of "God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen" by Sarah and Barenaked Ladies.
I can't find a movie with the word "heart" in it that features the song in its soundtrack. XM must have made a mistake with the song credits.
