Frank,

You are the best cyberman! Thanks for you
patience and support with my endless website questions. You define the words "Gentleman" & "delightful". But to answer your question as to where I was in the "que" when they where giving out luck - I was last in line. Just look at what my silly comment has started!!! I'm so sorry everyone!

I see this issue in so many different ways. First & foremost there is a very real "soul
connection" between Gord, his music and his
fans. Even non-fans, (if you can imagine the thought of 15 people on earth who aren't fans...) will be the first to admit that it's
"very soulful".(but they prefer acid rock.To
each his own?) Yes, it's extremely soulful to
all fans, that I know of, redardless of sex.

But with men and woman being so different, I
can see how an excellent topic such as this
could go two ways. Although this music goes
straight to our hearts, it seems to settle in our souls and then lives there forever. I'm only speaking for myself & the many fans who've relayed the same feelings. Many will
have a great time with this topic. I happen to LOVE it!!! But if the men got stirred up to the point that women do about this stuff then...whew! Even though it gets to all our souls, but women take it to the pit of their
souls. We daydream, visualize, romantisize,
fantasize and wonder what might have been...
This topic will have comments from A to Z
beacuse it's a great change of pace and FUN!
Some of us, like Frank and I will see it as a bit of friviolity and others will take it more seriously. After all, there are several
million women who are out of luck as far as Gord goes in this lifetime & fantasies about past lives & future gives these restless,
aching hearts a place to go & something to do. I know from experience that when he puts
his deepest feelings, heart and soul on public record, many of us are convinced we do, in fact, know him. Because we do. We just
don't know what he eats for breakfast or what the cats did in his great big tv set.
How frustrating must it be to have him share
so much and then not be able to share back?

Frank, thanks for the terrific topic. I'd be shocked if a better one ever comes along.
Look how many people are having fun with it. That's why I look for topics YOU start. You
start the ones I like best!

But this is one that will hit the collective
romantic nerve of the ladies here & you'll get some great answers. I can't wait!

Lots people also truly believe in past lives.

I think the main point I'm trying to make is that he has allowed us to know him through his music. Many of us don't "feel" we know
him, we feel we "KNOW" we know him through
his work. It's extremely frustrating for women. Gord's romantic music stirs us UP!!!!

So thanks for the great topic and let's be prepared for all kinds replys! This is the kind of topic where anything will happen so
I'm just anxiously waiting for more comments. With the "soul connection" in mind
I'm also looking forward to hearing from everyone on that point of view. Who knows for
sure about past lives? No one. But I'll e-mail one to you soon that will shock you. It
shocked my hubby and one other person. But I won't share it in public.

Thanks again for a great topic. I'd like to
start one about our secret, personal nic-names for Gordon, but I'll get in trouble so
never mind. Although mine for Terry is
"Sugarbear", but no one tell him because it's
a SECRET!!! Ok. Mine for Gord is "The Rough
Tough Creme Puff". Do you think I can sneak
it by the inspector?
