I'm disgusted by the bigotry I'm seeing here. Gordon Lightfoot is a brilliant songwriter and has been a hero of mine for more than 30 years. It pains me to learn that my fellow fans are using their love of GL as an excuse to air their homophobic thoughts. I doubt Gord would approve.

KD Lang, like Lightfoot is a brilliant artist. As an artist she has to make choices that she thinks will work for her. There is nothing about the quote offered that would suggest she lacks respect for Lightfoot, and yet, not only do you assume it, you use it as an excuse to attack her appearance and her lifestyle, neither of which have anything to do with her merit as an artist.

Shame on you.
